Rita Lombard

Experience 

Rita is the Chief Operations Officer and a Director in the Risk Advisory Services division at BDO in Botswana. Her responsibilities include execution and quality assurance on Botswana Risk Advisory projects including the implementation and review of corporate governance engagements.  She has experience working on both private sector and public sector engagements across various industries including Mining, Financial Services, Agriculture,  and Parastatals. Prior to joining BDO, Rita headed up the Consulting and Risk Advisory business for a reputable Professional Services firm in Botswana. Rita has planned, executed, and overseen various risk and advisory engagements for clients in Botswana, South Africa, Geurnsey and in the United States of America. She was also a member of the Board of Directors for one of the largest Fund Managers in South Africa.

With a career spanning 33 years, she has garnered a wealth of experience which include guiding  enterprises towards sustainable growth and operational excellence. She has an exceptional ability to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize process and business performance. Rita has consistently delivered results for her clients and her visionary leadership and dedication make her a trusted advisor to companies.
